New Job Update!

YEAH!

I just finnished my first night of training at my new job. I started 1 day late so I'm a little behind, But I think I've done alot of catching up.

I found out tonight I will never have to work past 9:00 PM ( I was originally told I could be booked till midnight)

Unofficially (find out tomorrow) I'm going to have my weekends off!

AND TOMORROW IS PANCAKE DAY!!!! Don't have to pack a dinner

I have alot to learn; product knowlege,short form Codes, and the whole computer program I will be in. There is pressure to perform well on tests MUST get an 85% Or else...

The people in my training class are nice though. Good humored and laid back.

I think I'm really going to like my new job.

New Job

Last Thursday I Applied for a job, same day, they called me to come in for testing.

Friday, Did testing

Monday, First Interview Found out I tested really high! Tell me I will be roecomended for second interview and likley hired. Training to start March 21st.

Tuesday, Called to come in for second interview on Wednesday. Was asked if I could start training On Feb 21st If I got hired. Said yes, I would.

Wednesday, (Today) Back for second Interview, I'm taken aside and asked if I can start Thursday ( tomorrow) as there is space in the present training program, I say yes. ( Luckily I was a little over excited and already wrote my resignation for my present job)

WOW! One week After I apply for the job I'm hired and working! I'm Stunned! I get full Benemits after 6 months, and they will pay for me to further my education.

New Job?

Much to my dismay, I've had the last 5 days off work... I've been cut back in hours, in a way that just might not go back to the way it was, and that just does not do the pocket any good.But I've tried to make the most of my time.I've seen some friends I havn't seen in forever, I've caught up on housework, Planned the next home rennovations ( painting) that we have to do... AND ... I've applied to several businesses for a new job!

Yesterday I spent pouring over websites looking at job oportunities available in my area, Not a tonne of them. Some of them not that desireable but they would do if I can't find anything else and if my present job cannot offer me the compensation that I need. There were a few of them really stood out as great jobs though.

This morning I catagorized all the job ads I picked out and made a couple skeleton framework cover letters with my star choice jobs as their focus.This is where my ego started to soar I was more competant for theese jobs than I thought I would be, I was meeting up to all of the qualifications and more! I think my cover letters were pretty well put together I feel like reading them to everyone.

Then after lunch, I stated E-mailing out my resumes and cover letters... I started getting excited at the idea of some new job oportunities... I'm really ready for a change!

2 Hours after I sent out my application to a very interesting company in my neighbourhood one of my "star choice" jobs... I got a call!!... I have an interview tomorrow at 10:30!

Lets hope my luck keeps on going!
